What is RoadMapping?
Over the years, we’ve found that many clients want to jump into the deep end without asking some key questions: How deep is the water? Is there an undertow? Will I need a wetsuit? And what about sharks? Knowing the answers is important – because just as each body of water is different, so too are your business, your processes and your desired outcome.
If your company would like to build your brand … engage your customers … maximize sales … and drive revenues, ManifesGo’s proven, results-driven Marketing RoadMapping will identify where you are now – and strategically point you in the direction you need to be.
Here’s how it works. First, we take a deep dive into your business, determining the challenges you’re facing and evaluating your current marketing efforts. We then use this information to create a personalized roadmap that outlines the steps you need to follow – and the marketing initiatives you need to implement – to take your business to the next level.
Your customized Marketing RoadMap will:
⌖ Produce an accurate estimate of the project timeline and cost, preventing irritating and costly overages and delays
⌖ Provide you with a blueprint for success – producing a better finished product, often on a smaller budget
⌖ Deliver more bang for your buck by de-risking your investment and ensuring that the money you’re spending actually generates a return
If this sounds good, and you’re looking for a low-cost, low-risk way to strategically grow your business, let’s chat about how ManifesGo’s proprietary Marketing RoadMapping can get you on the right course.
The RoadMapping Process
Step 1 – Roadmapping Session
Before starting on any journey, it’s wise to plan ahead. We use our Roadmapping service as a way to help you understand where you’re going, how long it will take, how much fuel (budget) you should expect to use, and what risks face us along the way. After our session, you’ll have a clear and concise roadmap that will help you solve the problems your business faces as quickly, safely, and economically as possible.
Here’s what to expect with your upcoming Roadmapping session:
A. DISCOVERY
You: We’ll go into more detail about you, your company, your customers, and your business model. The Problem: Our team will learn more about your project, and specifically what business problems lie behind it. The Payout: We’ll dive into the project in more detail, and establish exactly how this project will be financially beneficial to your business and yield a return-on-investment. What defines success? What defines failure? The more we learn about your business, its problems, and the goals that you have, the better we’ll be at being able to help you define a Roadmap to reaching those goals.
B. ASSESS RISKS AND PRIORITIES
After we’ve learned as much as we can about your business and what you want tomorrow to look like, we’ll assess and analyze the risks in moving forward. Your team and ours will bring forward anything that could keep this project from being successful — maybe the budget’s too low, the timeline’s too tight, or there will be a degree of research and experimentation needed.
C. PLAN THE PROJECT
We’ll spend the majority of our time together really digging in to how the business problem at hand can be best solved. What should be done? What maybe shouldn’t be done, at least not yet? Together, we will put together a start-to-finish Roadmap for your project. This will help you avoid any dead ends and wrong turns. And we’ll also ensure that before you start down the path of executing on your project that you have a good understanding of how much time and money will be required.
D. REASSESS RISKS & CLOSING
Now that we’ve really fleshed out this project and have come up with a few paths that will help you solve the problem you face, we’ll revisit the risks we identified at the beginning of our session and see if they’re still a concern.
Step 2 – In-Depth Analysis
After the session, our team will spend a few days doing additional research into the problem domain of your project, including spending the time to really investigate any of the risks that we identified during our time together.
We’ll produce a Deliverables Report that details exactly what was discussed and brought to light during our session together, and we’ll also provide recommendations for next steps. This document is portable, and can be used to assist you in either recruiting talent, money, or when presenting this project to a competing firm.
Roadmapping Agenda
Step 3 – Delivery Of Roadmapping Report
We’ll email you a copy of your personalized report, and we’ll also schedule a follow up to discuss any questions that might allow you to make the best decision regarding the future of your project and your immediate next steps.
Additionally, you’ll be sent any and all materials that were discussed or developed during our session.
These might include:
• Wireframes
• Workflows
• Mind maps
• Story cards or tasks
