A Year of Firsts For The 24th Annual NWES
Presented by Butler Events, the Northwest Event Show is the largest annual trade show in the Pacific Northwest, featuring the newest, most innovative event and hospitality ideas for corporate meeting and event planners under one roof. This exclusive industry show is not open to the general public.
Situation
Butler acquired the Show in 2017 and sought a group of independent professionals to help them reimagined and present the 2018 Show to the Pacific Northwest event and hospitality community.
With significant growth goals in mind, Butler needed marketing and communication solutions to create value and connection. They wanted to grow exhibitor and attendee participation and introduce the Pacific Northwest event and hospitality community to new ways of experiencing and participating with the Northwest Event Show – before, during and after the actual one-day Show. Their goal was to increase the connection among the PNW Corporate Meeting & Event planner community, add valuable content at the Show itself.
Solution
ManifesGo was hired as key member of the Marketing and Communications team. As thought-leaders in marketing strategies, communications, marketing execution and video production we focused on increasing awareness, lead generation and acquisition to grow exhibitor and attendee participation of the 2018 Show. We envisioned and participated in unique pre-show events to engage potential and existing exhibitors to helped guide and ensure their success at the Show. We developed an overarching communication roadmap and developed campaigns to facilitate common and consistent messages about the Show, it’s new features and the new owners. We facilitated and co-managed the set-up and content creation of social channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) and e-mail campaigns.
An Evolved Show For 2018
We led the development of earned and paid marketing tactics working with local business magazines and influencers to promote the Show. We utilized video in nearly all marketing efforts to increase engagement and connect with event planners. We coached new Show owners on camera and produced personal message videos to exhibitors and attendees inviting them to participate.
ManifesGo envisioned and produced an on-site, day off LIVE Broadcast from the 2018 Show. Show streamed live on Facebook. Live stream content was cleaned-up and re-edited for post-show posting.
